So I have received numerous e-mails referencing The City of Sherwood Water billing and their predatory practices. It seems that after a year they have finally got all the bugs worked out of the system, and are now giving you a whole 72 hours to pay your past due or face being shut off. I wonder if this sudden need for money has anything to do with the Water project that is now at least 30 days behind and over budget by 15%? The City is going broke and they need income from you. I was talking to a business owner yesterday the poor guy has a monthly bill of 94.20 and 18.00 is water usage, Wow how can this be the 18th most desirable city to live in? Top it all off with a City Manager who takes a 17k raise in the worst economy in 80 years. This man should be fired immediately before we are so broke we can't put gas in our Police cars. Shame on you City of Sherwood. One last thing, if you have a complaint about the water utility billing, you can call the State of Oregon Public Utility commission and lodge a formal complaint. their number is 1-800-522-2404. Ta Ta
