Hi fellow inhabitants of the forest, I promised you the full scoop on the Broadband Issue and how it came to be, well I now have all the documents, meeting notes, and proposals and am going through it with a fine tooth comb. OMG after just reading through a small portion of it I am aghast at how this was done. The former Sheriff of Nottingham should probably retain a lawyer as I think he will need it. Well back to my reading and I promise this will be all clear to you in a few days... Ta Ta.

I hate to say this, but I think some of what they do is a total lack of interest. I watched the I think it was the first meeting in June and everyone of them seems incredibly uncertain about what they ask, and when they ask and who they ask. They look at the lawyer and the City Manager constantly for confirmation. It is apparent they unprepared for the meeting. The Sheriff of Nottingham also seems uninterested or maybe he is asleep it is hard to tell. Linda looks like she is on the ball but some of the others.. hmmmm... I don't know. We really needs some folks that are prepared, pay attention, study the issues, have opinions and follow the rules... I don't think that it too much to ask.

ReplyDeleteOnly Mr. Clark has any reason to be distracted as he is very ill but winning his battle. It is pathetic that our City employees are either dis-interested or so arrogant that they don't really care as they are going to do whatever they want regardless of what anyone says. Ta Ta

Lack of interest may be the case if you are referring to the "public interest"...these folks are supposed to be acting in the best interest of the public. However, it seems as though they are acting on behalf of themselves!
